Zoe Saldana Is Out Of This World

Zoe Saldana was born in New Jersey on June 19, 1978 to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. She grew up in the Dominican Republic, but returned to the United States during high school. Zoe’s credits include Crossroads (2002), Drumline (2002), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Guess Who (2005), etc. She is probably most well known now as Uhura in the new Star Trek franchise. I’d love to fly around the universe on a starship with her. Zoe’s next film is the long awaited new film from James Cameron called Avatar.
